They did that mid development and ended up cutting out (and probably not even starting things they intended) alot of things because of the disk size issue and extra work load, I do think Dark souls might be a little more limited then if it was ps3 exclusives but demon souls wasn't an overly large game and it didn't really do anything to push the hardware so it should be fine
