CVG

Speaking to CVG in a recent interview, the From Software man explained that while Microsoft's box puts a big emphasis on online gaming, 360 players aren't likely to have seen a network system like that found in its action RPG.

"I feel that Xbox 360 users really put an emphasis on the online aspect, with things like voice chat and friends. However, while this game doesn't have some of those things, it has a very unique approach," he said.

"I'm looking forward to some of the feedback that Xbox 360 players will provide when they try the new network system and have a new online experience. I'm looking forward to letting Xbox users discover something new."

In case you really are cut off from the world of PS3, Dark Souls carries a similar online hook to its Sony-published predecessor, with players able to leave notes and ghosts in the single-player game to help fellow adventurers.
