PC gaming isn't on life support, that's a common myth. It's just a different market that sells different TYPES of games.(Indie games, MMO's, RTS games and a thriving casual market)

I'm beginning to think that the PS3 could have used some sort of fancy file caching system for the games instead of traditional 'installation', so that if a game hasn't been played in awhile and the cache is almost full, new games can replace the cached files of the old one. Heck, the 360 does this, so I'm sure the PS3 could too.
