The Halo: Combat Evolved remake is allegedly being developed by New Jersey-based Saber Interactive, the company behind TimeShift and Namco's upcoming Inversion, but we've been unable to confirm the nature of the engine powering it. We understand that it's something other than the Reach engine.

As if MS would give it to them, they're clearly not talented enough for the Halo franchise ...

Haha...new Halo game no, but copy/paste job of a 10 year old game...I think that team is more than capable.  anyone but Sonic Team should be capable of doing this...

I personally liked Timeshift when it came out. It was before this whole Modern Warfare FPS wannabie craze, and Timeshift had some originality to the concept.

I am with you there. Timeshift was a fun game full of originality. The biggest flaw was the less than stellar story. Gameplay was fun IMo and kept my interest welll into the ending credits. I think they are mroe than capable of doing the Halo remake justice.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
