You didn't play Battlefield 2 did you? Its called scaleable maps and it works great.
I am so glad this is there. Its one reason I didn't buy BC2 as it was obviously gimped for consoles. Here Dice is showing that BF3 is PC made and consoles optimized later. That's the way it should be.
