I agree with you there, MW3 being juggled between 3 different developers is not a good thing. If the game does stumble out of the gate and doesn't live up to the COD name, then fans will be pissed and maybe start looking for alternatives.
This is where BF3 comes in. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the game will have great sales. But, if it EA and Dice could tap into that COD fan-base, it could really steal the show.
This is all hypothetical of course, I'd just really like to see the Battlefield franchise succeed beyond what it's done in the past.
