Well…now that all three console makers have released their numbers…M$ EDD has got to be feeling pretty darn good about how they are performing against the competition. Life in Xbox World is looking mighty bright with dollar signs at the moment. How and what does this translate to gamers…I take it to mean that M$ is going to continue to push the envelope to keep EDD growth and hopefully deliver stronger results, quarter after quarter. The one area that they are probably going to start to increase their focus on is 1st party and 2nd party titles. The development cost of games has to have dropped drastically from 3 years ago, which means the level of risk is probably far less…I think 2011 will be a landmark year for the 360 in this regard.
