Ok, so I gave the Bulletstorm demo a try.  I saw how Cliffy B has been pumping it and have held out hope that Bulletstorm would be special.  Well, the demo was ok.  I found the use of the whip pretty cool, but the entire leave the in suspended animation to do Mortal Kombat style fatalities seems forced.  I see what they are trying to do, but just doesn't resonate with me.  Mind you, I do like the banter and voice overs and the attempt at humor in the game.  But the marketing seems seriously forced.  Well, I do give a game a shot, if the writing is good.  But the play just felt a bit trying too hard to me.

This being said, I did see the video for the shot at Call of Duty Epic put out, called "Duty Calls".  What I see here, is a demo for a game I want to play.  I want to have someone do an over the top takedown parody of Call of Duty, Halo, and other modern FPS titles.  I want it go on multiple levels and be absurd.  I want Matt Hazzard without the stiff controls.  So, in light of this, Duty Calls interests me more than Bulletstorm personally.

Anyone else here feel similar?  Keep in mind, I also enjoyed the original Bad Company more than the sequel, just because of the throw away lines in it.  I liked the characters to.
