Personally, I don't see a huge problem with the law. I had a friend who was flipping out over it because she said what if her brother was driving through Arizona on his way to/from college and got stopped because he was Hispanic. She got mad at me what i said "...so he just shows them his drivers license..."
If you're over 16 or at the very least 18, you should have some form of government ID anyways so it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
