lbp 2 glitch/problem???

today i was playing some lbp 2, and i was playing the flying bee level where you gotta shoot enemies and what not.   well i died once and after i was respawned, i couldnt shoot.  i tried a second controller to make sure it wasnt just the controller, but it still didnt work.  i even exited the level and re-entered and i still couldnt shoot.  the only other possible thing i could think of is turn off the system completely.  i havent tried it yet, but i hope it works.  does anyone know any information regarding this problem or similar glitch?

edit: nvm, i just tried it after shutting down and it works fine.  if anyone else has this problem, simply restart your ps3.
