This site is being run by Nintendo fans. As a Sony fan, I feel isolated and lonely and I also feel like every argument I make in reference to Sony is attacked by a Nintendo fan, due to their pact mentality and larger user base. Pity me, for I am alone in this everlasting battle of console ownership and I can only hope that one day I can rise up and shove back against the Nintentodian oppressors.

We might as well call the site Nintendo Chartz and just face the truth.

It's quite interesting how, in my experience, nearly everybody on VGChartz feels they're in a minority.

Plenty of Wii owners feel that they're in a minority.
Plenty of Sony owners feel that they're in a minority.
All the PC owners seem to feel they're in a minority.
All the X360 owners seem to feel they're  in a minority.
The SEGA fans also feel that they're in a minority.

So you kind of can't trust your own feeling here. Practically everybody feels that they're in a minority, somehow.

Personally, I think this site has a nice share of different owners. To me, the ideal site has slightly more Wii owners than Ps3 or X360 owners, but signifficantly more Ps360 owners combined. That was, pretty much all discussions have equally many people with a bias on each side, which prevents people from being able to be complete jerks to each other.

Lately, though, there's become more Ps3 owners than Wii owners on this forum. It's still relatively close, though, so I don't mind it.

By the way, here's a breakdown of how many threads have been made in each forum so far this year.  (Calculated by me by checking how many pages of threads there have been since 1st January in each forum section. Feel free to recount).

Sony section -  Roughly 465 (9 pages and 15 more)
Nintendo section - roughly 315 (6 pages and 15 more)
Microsoft section - Roughly 170 (3 pages and 20 more)

Gaming section - Roughly 600 (nearly 12 pages)
Sales - Roughly 250 (Nearly 5 pages)

But while there are more Sony owners on VGChartz than Nintendo owners on this forum, I believe there are more Nintendo fans who are interested in sales than Sony fans who are interested in sales. There's also the fact that the majority of the people who have a proper clue about sales are Nintendo fans. (Which is simply a result of the majority of the veterans being Nintendo owners).

I guess that explains why everybody feels they're in a minority. In the gaming section of the forum, Sony owners are in majority, so Nintendo owners feel in a minority. In the sales section, Nintendo owners are in a majority (or at least in a sligtly intellectual majority), so Sony owners feel in a minority there.

*Note*: I'm not saying Sony owners are stupid or any such thing, make no mistake, there's just a higher amount of really clever people who own Nintendo machines. It's in no way calling anybody stupid.
