I think we might get lucky:
The guy is obviously lying. I think he might have fucked it adding the Vesperia logo to confuse people and gain more atention and now people might become furious and Namco might reconsider publishing it when they had already decided they wouldn't.
Sounds as a story made up by a child, I know. I just want to believe it.
