Based on that info and the trailer i posted above, this is Demon's Souls 2 in all but name.

I already saw that and it doesn't tell me much. It appears to be both very similar and very different, that's why I need more information. Unless the game is being released as Demon's Souls 2, I expect a spiritual sequel to be noticeably different from the prequel. Essentially an original experience inspired by the first, not an identical one.
I'm not saying an identical experience would not be great (still not convinced From can replicate one), but I would prefer an original one.
