I have one big question:  What's this console's identity?

As a gaming device: It has tons and tons of power but we are in an age where graphics don't impress like they used to.  The 3D in the 3DS will provide a bit of a "Wow factor" (until the effect gets old).  What's going to make the NGP stand out?  One thing that people keep forgetting:  Games like Tetris, Angry Birds, Pokemon, or Advance Wars are hits because they provide a portable gaming experience.  You break out your portable when you need a bite sized gaming experience.  It's okay if they look good but in the end, they just tide you over until you get to your HDTV and your console.  Immersion in a 5inch screen?  I don't know.

As an App device:  Is there going to be anything in the world that will make me want to use this device to run apps instead of my slicker, smaller, Android phone (or even an iPad or any other App running machine)?

As a media player:  iPods, iPads, Smartphones, portable DVD players, etc.  If I want to watch a movie or listen to music on the go, there's many more established ways to do it.

As a networking device:  It will have 3G (maybe even 4G) support.  So does the phone that I already own.  Twitter, Skype, Facebook, etc. are already  in the palm of my hand.  A flawless web browser, too.

So what we have is a powerful device with a ton of potential to do a lot of things that we already have the power to do.  I just don't know what's going to make the PSP2/NGP a winner.  Good games?  Good online?  Something that we haven't thought of, yet?  What's the one feature that's going to make this thing stand out?  As one of the biggest PSP fans on this site, I'm reserving final opinion on this one.
