Where's the rumble on handhelds?

The vibration in phone would do almost nothing, and be so useless in comparison to what is possible on a dualshock or other. GT 5, somehow, can rumble in such a way that you know what is happening to the car (one of my favourite things about the game) and a simple vibration would not be able to convey any affects like that

dont know about your cell phones but some of mine have had some real kick to them. Seems comparable enough to me to my 360 controller.
