Macs, you are not just paying for the name, you are paying for superior quality, and superior workmanship. There is no design better on the market, and there is no crap components in any Mac. Plus when you get ready to upgrade in 3-4 years, the macs hold their value. A pc is worth nothing in that time frame. I had a $2000 power mac g5 that I used for 4 years and then wanted to upgrade to an intel iMac. I sold the G5 for $1500 on eBay and then bought the iMac for $1200. You could never do that with a PC. Like another guy said earlier, go compare the same build on a dell, and you are not paying more, that is such a misconception. Everything is top quality from the mother board to the graphics card to the processors to the drives. They do not put crap in Macs and they last forever. I have used Macs for 14-15 years, never had one crash and never had a virus and never have had to restart because of a freeze up. I would love to have someone with a PC claim the same.
