Kaz and Tretton both have said before that worldwide launches are better.

they have also said that PS3 bad launch effected its sales alot.

Guess that had more to do with high pricing and a lack of AAA titles.

but at that time PLAYSTATION was the biggest thing in gaming by far and

when brandname and popularity is on your side,people buy your stuff,sony didn''t ship enough consoles to capitalize on that oppurtunity

and till the time they shipped more consoles,the brand name had been damaged and populrity went down
