Just to clear one thing up, the graph showing weekly sales would appear to be for the entirety of Europe. The bar graph for UK, Germany, France, and Spain sales shows that PS3 sold less in 2010 than in 2009. But if you look at the weekly chart from the previous investor briefing it shows that PS3 actually sold noticeably more in 2010 than in 2009.

As you can see here PS3 in 2010 was outselling 2009 by a consistent 15k-35k per week through the first 8 months of the year. I didn't count pixels but for the few weeks where 2009 was on top the total YOY loss was somewhere in the vicinity of 200k-225k. It probably almost made that up in the holidays alone.
