Bleach is essentially a yellow haired Inuyasha clone with spirits instead of demons.

Naruto is essentially DBZ with ninjas and an annoying protagonist.

And both shows are roughly 75% filler and 25% plot development.

IMHO, of course.

 Bleach: See how this half human, half shinigami can get beat up like crap, before coming back and beating the strong enemy the pulp.  It's not about the story, it's about the action.

 Naruto: As much as I love DBZ, Naruto is a lot moer funnier.  The most cool thing is will he ever get devoured by the power within him, and what is his true relation to the 4th Hokage.  It's very different from DBZ.

But i agree that the fillers are annoying.  Same with one piece's fillers.
