so in your opinion, a second thumbstick is the determinant of 'proper'? Going by this hypothesis, neither the SNES, N64, Dreamcast, DS or SEGA Mega Drive were 'proper' despite being among the greatest systems ever produced. What do you think of the above platforms? If they are not 'proper', what are they? Also don't forget the touch screen found on the DS or 3DS make for a good (sometimes better) substitute for a second analogue stick., have you played MP Hunters? The 3DS doesn't need a 2nd slide thingy to the same extent the NGP needed a 2nd thumbstick for this reason. If you seriously hold that view, I feel sorry for you |
LOL, don't be so serious :P i say proper handheld gaming because who wouldn't want to play their FPS/TPS and every game that requires a dual analog stick on a handheld? i can see the pattern with most of the consoles you mentioned... all those consoles besides the DS are older than the PS1, when the dual analog stick was implemented and changed the gaming industry since then.
still, what i said was a joke! i love the 3DS too, and i'm pretty sure the second touch screen will make a great substitute of the second analogue stick.
