Could NGP save game companies?

BS, I own two copies of ever UT game, BF title, GTAVC/SA, and a few others. There are tons that will. How many people buy PS1 titles on the PSN even though they own a PS1 and the games on disc.

i will echo that bs, the mario games released on the NES, showed up on the SNES as mario all stars and most recently shipped 3M units to the wii.  GoW collection, sly cooper collection, ico/SotC collection, ports galore to the GB and DS and even more slated for the 3DS, virtual console and psn classics...

...the market has spoken -- we're plenty willing to buy the same game multiple times.

Yea, I own 3 version of Beyond Good and Evil, the 3 versions of Persona 3, 2 versions of ME2, 2 versions of Dragon Age, let alone all the games I own the PS1 that I repurchased to play on my PSP.

 

This idea of yours might have merit.  If I could take a game I just started playing on my PS3 and then take it with me?  I would probably buy a second copy just for that.
