People aren't going to buy the same game twice.


Actually I know of people who bought the handheld versions of many games they owned. My friend Will bought quite a few. I also know another friend who bought a few games on both PS2 and PSP. It does work and a few do buy them both.

Also if Sony makes it so you can transfer save files and acheivements over to your NGP and back people would want to buy both versions so they can play their games on the go.

As well not all NGP owners will own PS3's. Some people buy only handhelds and not home consoles. Other people buy home consoles from one company and handhelds from another. Meaning the NGP is going to be a new market for those people.

However I don't expect Ports to sell as well on NGP as on the home consoles, but they should still sell enough to add alot of sales to the software. it could potentially mean the difference between loosing money or breaking even!
