I think people are a litle overhyped with this game. Nothing that took this long to develop has ended up not disappointing. Best to stop the overhype now and just wait for this vaporware to finally get a release date.

Why would xbox players want another final fantasy on 3 disks, lowered resolution, and enough content cut from both versions to make a brand new game?

Pretty sure the 1.5 mil who got FFXIII would be glad to have this. Why did 9 mil ps1 owners buy FF7 on 3 discs? Whats the proof that content was cut due to storage space on 360...pretty sure they could've simply added 1 more disc. Didnt SO4 have 4? Last I checked, it was published by S-E as well. FFXIII-2 exists because this is the gen of sequels. It's much cheaper to make than FFXV no matter how you spin it. It's less to do with 360 storage and more to do with economics.

As for the lower resolution, isn't that just like many multiplat titles are bought on ps3 despite being slightly inferior. Bayonetta comes to mind. Didnt that even sell more on ps3?

Alright you got me with the multiple disks issue. As for resolution, ps3 version runs at native 720p while xbox version runs at 1024x576 which is a lot bigger of a difference than with most multiplats and almost every gaming website had an article with art director  saying mass amounts of content got cut. But then again he restates somewhere else that most of it was filler or just messed up pacing but my original argument still stands since i didnt say if any of the content was actually worth it or not, but citys would have been nice and straight line maps were not nice.
