For some people it's that this represents a sort of ingrained hypocrisy, especially concerning the assumed moral authority necessary to tell people what is or isn't right about sex. This is especially egregious considering that this particular Pope has had a personal hand in covering up child molestation cases.
I just disagree with him, though, and I don't really see where there's anything particularly Biblical in villifying the sexual act.
