The $4,966 figure is loss obviously.

I really think it should always be stated that this isn't just the xbox division, with everything else they have in  this division we have no real way to know how much the 360 has lost

Thanks for pointing that out because so many here seem to think that EDD is just the xbox. Wake up.

The EDD profit IS NOT XBOX360 PROFIT. The EDD consist of PC games and online services,  Office, Windows Mobile and a whole lot of other stuff.

We have no idea of how much the x360 (and related items like kinect)  made on it's own and MS didn't say.

Great quarter result for MS regardless.
