It's true, using standard smartphone tech instead of confusing developers with esoteric hardware is a shift. And I'm a little dubious as to how useful a rear trackpad will be, but it certainly is a unique idea.
This device just seems like it's throwing out features to see what sticks, while the mass market generally wants consumer electronics built with the KISS principle. Less is often more, especially in a device that's supposed to be portable. The Dell Streak has a 5" screen, and it's marketed as a tablet! Is this thing even pocketable if you aren't wearing cargo pants?
