Tough call. I really liked Mirror's edge, Enslaved, Alan wake, Valkyria chronicles. But I couldn't get into Assasin's creed 1, yet 2 was awesome, 3 is on hold (just felt like more of the same) while I'm playing GT5 another sequel. Super mario galaxy 1 was great, 2 just didn't grab me the same.
Uncharted 1 was great, Uncharted 2 just as great.
Mass effect 1 was better then 2 imo.
At the moment I like LBP1 more then my initial impressions of LBP2 (not had enough time with it yet due to GT5, but I don't really like the non-platforming story levels, they look cool but I like being able to explore more then being pushed forward)
I guess for me new IPs have the advantage, sequels have to do a lot of extra effort (assasins creed 2, uncharted 2), be very different (zelda) or be on a new console (GT5) to be equal or better for me.
