Good information. I can't help but like the direction Sony is going with this. They seem to be in tune with what is desired amongst many: 1. Online social connectivity, 2. A user friendly interface to serve as a platform, and 3. Pairing gaming and phone capability for the PSP2, and 4. Allying with Android to provide a platform for Android users to play Sony games.

However, this does a raise a question for me:

In an era where gaming on a smart phone is becoming common, is it disruptive to create platforms that further evolve gaming on a  smart phone? Or is it disruptive, as Nintendo is doing with the 3DS, to continue the cycle since the Gameboy to conceptualize a hand-held as a primary gaming device with afterthoughts (friend codes) given to online social connectivity?
