i dont think the Wii is core enough, as shown by the Japanese sales. the PS3/360 can achieve more in their respective core auidences imho. i dont really see all those people who bought Wii Fit or Mario Galaxy here in the west quite so interested in JRPGs. but maybe they are... although based on sales of other types of games on the console i wouldnt have thought so.
i dont know what qualifies as selling a lot for a Tales game here in the west, but based on the sales of game like Valkyria Chronicles, Resonance of Fate, Star Ocean 4, etc theres potential for it to reach similar types of sales and slowly grow into a more popular series, an exclusive status could provide that.

Except ToG has gotten hype as both a Wii game and PS3 game. It's not like a Wii version is nonexistant, what's the problem?
Outside of Japan, the core argument makes no sense for RPGs because no matter how core the PS3 or 360 are, they will still not be able to sell a Tales game that well. Like I said, ToV/DotNW are the best selling Tales games besides ToS and sold around the 140k ballpark. That's more than any PS2 Tales in the US. Also, the Wii lineup is barren so far...a Wii release would be perfect to fill that gap. There's more competition on the PS3, not that ToGF won't be released on the PS3 here though.
And once again, Japan sales are no indication of Western sales.

I have both consoles, but i don't know why you don't want it on PS3. I want to play games with all the HD glory! I hope it is released for both. If not i want it for PS3.

What HD glory? Only difference between the graphics is the resolution. PS3 version is only a bit touched up. ToGF still looks like a Wii game.

But it is in HD. Why many people bought God of War Colection? Why people will buy ICO Collection? It's the same game we played but on HD glory! I have a Full HD TV and i want to play games at last on 720p if possible. If 480p is the only option (Last Story, Xenoblade, Zelda) i will play, but if we can have the best i want the best! :)
