Buying a rifle for your 14 years old son isn't really a good idea

Strangers should not be in your backyard or house without permission. Why would they be there? They have no reason. Most likely there to harm you or your possesions

Unless you're absolutely sure, and they actually try to attack you, you shouldn't shoot them. They could be lost, searching for directions, hurt etc. Plus, as I said, what if they're some sort of friends/acquaintences wanting to surprise you?

Seems to me your being a little dense here. Like I said earlier, anyone who knows you will know you may be target practicing and would anounce themselves. I typicaly do not tresspass to ask for directions, i may go to the front door or front yard, but not inside the house or backyard(as that may be dangorous as I know thta would be considered tresspassing and suspicous). So again I say anyone with common sense or thought will be fine. People do tend to use their heads when not on internet forums. Sorry if you can't comprehend that.
