I agree. if a game is buggy and the studio isn't facing bankrupcy then it should not be rushed to market. Look at Nintendo titles as the perfect example, if their is a lot of bugs the game gets delayed. Even if Nintendo has to delay a game 5-6 times they do so until the game is ready.
Nintendo isn't alone, Sony also hold quality in high regard (Not as high as the big N but high enough) You wouldn't see GT released with dozens of glitches and bugs. Even Microsoft hasn't published a particularily glitchy game in a while. I see no excuse for a publisher to rush a title unless they are in financial trouble and need to release the game or go under.
