I hope we're not referring to me here. I compared Iran favorably to a potentially independent Chechnya and to Taliban-era Afghanistan. Iran is no worse off than anywhere else in the middle east, more stable internally than Yemen or Lebanon, and with a solid social infrastructure. Despite sponsoring terrorism, they themselves are not a terrorist state (they can get a little vindictive with scapegoating, but a great many nations are guilty of that)

No, it wasn't really aimed at you, I was just agreeing mainly with the last sentence, about what propaganda can do to the ill informed.

But before anybody assumes anything: No, I do NOT, in any way, support these kind of attacks.
