In terms of quality of life Canada is really nice. I've heard countries like Norway, Switzerland, etc. are great too but never been there.
China just looks terrible to me, I never want to go there. Its at the bottom of my "must-travel" list just above Africa.

from what weve learned in afghanistan, iraq, and vietnam the us arent such a big power house. yes they have technology, but if china practices gurrila warfare the only thing the us can do is kill civilians and make oil pipe lines.

Against all expectations, Iraq was won in about 6 weeks. The issue is that it all happened so fast, they weren't prepared for the country's collapse.

That and they stupidly disbaneded the national army and security forces despite it being one of the main employers and in general mostly filled with people who just wanted a paycheck.
They should of just kept the army intact, rooted out the hardcore bathists, and train additional troops as a counter measure. Would of been "out of Iraq" a year earlier at least.
