But still....Rockstar can put their name on a tennis game and it will sell. I see it outselling Heavy Rain easily between two platforms.

yes but i dont think it will reach 3-4 million sales.

one of the reasons red dead sold so well is because it had fun gameplay, great new features, a very good mp, and an interesting setting, as well as the rockstar name.

la noire lacks a great mp, and its gameplay will be either bland combat mixed with great detective skills, or heavy rain gameplay. also its not going to be called "the gta in the west"

it will sell well, but wont be as the same level as red dead. which wont guarente best selling ip 2011.

I didn't mention Red Dead at all.

But now that you mention it, the hype for L.A. Noire is reminding me of the hype for Red Dead. It started off the year before with a small amount of people hyping it up. Then Rockstar released info and more people started flocking towards the game. Now it just needs to live up to the hype and it'll do just fine.

I don't think it will sell as much as Red Dead but I think it can easily secure a few million by the end of the year.

I hope it turns out well.

Then again, I'm doubtful, because Rockstar is my posterchild for the most overrated developer of this gen in my book. No way am I getting suckered into buying another one of their games close to full price.
