In terms of power I'd say USA by a mile. USA could easily take out China in a war 1v1 with their technology. 

 

In terms of quality of life Canada is really nice. I've heard countries like Norway, Switzerland, etc. are great too but never been there. 

 

China just looks terrible to me, I never want to go there. Its at the bottom of my "must-travel" list just above Africa.
