Hey the Starwars prequels were amazing films for their day. They were far better then the Matrix trilogy. Honestly I will probubly watch 4 and 5. I have been meaning to pick up the first three on BluRay for a while. But like others said the first one was amazing the other two not so much.

Starting with the special edition of Star Wars, everything George Lucas has worked on recently has been getting worse and worse; and it really makes me wonder whether George Lucas was just in the right place at the right time while knowing the right people to become so successful, or whether he had some sort of physical or emotional problem in the mid-1990s that impacted his ability to make a decent movie.

He had way too many good movies in a row for it to be "right place at right time".

From THX-1138 to American Graffiti to Star Wars to Indiana Jones, the guy was golden. Something went wrong in the 90s that apparently drove him to insanity.
