Arcana Heart confirmed for europe, small hope for new GG game

Frost: Hey theres been alot of rumors about you guys over at Zen doing Arcana Heart 3 for europe, places having estimated release dates, want to tell us something about it?

Geraint: Sure. Well, the short answer I guess is that ‘yes’, we are going to be bringing it to Europe. I know we talked to you guys about it being a possibility during the BlazBlue tournament we put on last year – but yeah, we can finally tell you that it’s all arranged and we can release in Europe.

Frost: oh wow thats great news!. What made you guys over at Zen, want to bring Arcana Heart over here to Europe?

Geraint: We loved working on BlazBlue. We’re big fans of 2D fighters and it’s a genre that doesn’t get a huge amount of attention in the UK and Europe, even though we feel there’s a market for it. BlazBlue really proved that for us – and along with things like the AH3 peition we ran, as well as the constant emails we get requesting it, we decided we should release it. We’re also totally committed, as Arc System Works are, to releasing Arc’s games in Europe.

Frost: HMV have a release date for the European release for the 10th of June, and that was put up way before this announcement. Is that release a real release date or just a rumor at the moment?

Geraint: That’s a rumour at the moment – we’ll announce the specifics on the release date further down the line. At this point, we just wanted to let everyone know that we’re working on it – mainly because so many people have been asking – we just wanted to put them out of their misery!

Frost: Can you tell us if Arc System Works are making another Guilty gear fighting game? :P

Geraint: Hahaha no worries – well, lets just say that, at BlazBlue vs Guilty Gear Live this weekend, Daisuke Ishiwatari himself said (after being asked the same question) that you ‘won’t be dissapointed’. Make of that what you will :P

Frost: haha, lets all hope he doesnt mean another RPG game :3. Anyways thanks for sparing some time to answer some questions, I hope you guys will have a nice time translating and localising Arcana Heart 3 :)

Impressive that someone is bringing it to EU considering that game is niche title in niche genre but i guess it's all coming from Blazblue effect.
