According to analysts 90% of current 360 owners upgraded from the original XBox. The pool of upgrading XBox users will dry up eventually.
I have read about many people buying additional 360s after their unit broke or experienced other problems, hoping a new Elite or HDMI premium XBox 360 would solve the problems they were experiencing.
