On topic, I'm surprised Russia hasn't carpet bombed parts of Chechnya where the rebbels are to be honest... These so called rebbels have killed 1000s of Russian civilians in the last 10 years.

1. Russia obliterated Grozny (capital of Chechnya) twice. They have destroyed many parts of Chechnya before.

2. The Russian military has killed tens of thousands of Chechen civilians. That's conservative estimates. Other estimates put it at hundreds of thousands. And hundreds of thousands have been displaced.

3. Chechen rebels have not killed thousands of Russian civilians. Chechen terrorists have killed hundreds. Less than a thousand.

You can blame the Chechen separatist leaders for the first leveling of Grozny who forcefully asserted themselves in to power and wouldn't let go... Chechenia wasn't a seperate republic in USSR like Ukraine or Georga, so Russia, like any good soverign state tried preventing their separation without using too much force from 1991-1994. They did openly warn of a major military operation in 1994 to do this.

Then blame islamic terrorirsts for the second leveling of Grozny in 2000...

Their tactics are just appaling...lets blow up their schools, airports, theaters, subways and appartment buildings...wtf.
