I thought the movie was pretty nice, if a bit boring at times, I hated the douchebag twins, and they got what was coming in the end lol. Yeah I felt sorry for the guy, he pretty much got assspanked out of the company even though he was the first investor, I'd pretty disappointed in my friend and upset too.. But LOL

*SPOILER*

Newspaper article about animal cruelty, when he fed the Chicken a chicken burger x)))

I don't even see that as a big deal.

I mean that shit happens every day in factory farms yet nobody cares.

Disgusting. Can you give details? What products should I avoid?

Baisically all meat that you haven't shot yourself or know the growers really. Or meat specifically labeled "cruelty free" which is going to cost you a lot more, and even then is no gurantee. Always buy local if you can.

It's really hard to tell what is factory farmed and what isn't.  Something like 60% of the world's meat is factory farmed, with the majority of that being the Western world.

Hence why in another post I was saying hunting isn't cruel compaired to farming though.

As for details, basically to save money, the butchered animal parts people can't eat are ground up into the feed and fed back to the surviving animals.  Even in countries where it's been banned to put in animal meat like the UK, they still often feed them their own blood gelatin and fat.

Seems like your biggest issue factory farm wise is Smithfield, not only is it using inhumane and unsafe methods, it's putting Romanians out of buisness.  http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/06/business/global/06smithfield.html?_r=1&ref=dining&pagewanted=all
