If the OLED display is true, then it looks like any second guesses about the PSP2 being 3D compatible are out the window, unless it has a 120Hz refresh rate and they want to make the device compatible with shutter glasses (not sure where they'd be going with that).

It would also make a sub $300 intro price less likely, but admittedly, I have no idea what the current price is for 3-4" OLED displays.

The Sharp parallax barrier display in the 3DS turned out to be only an estimated $20-30 per unit, and the Retina display in the iPhone 4 is under $30, so it seems unlikely that the potential OLED display would be any more than that.

But a 3G enabled device at $299, if they can make it profitable, would be a very enticing purchase. We'll see shortly.
