Yeah I am pretty sure women proved themselves as capable as men when it comes to military action, WWII being a great example, when in Russia, women were allowed to join the front as a result of lasting action, manning(no pun) the artillery, general support lines and even front line infantry I think.
I heard recently Obama signed some pledge that allowed gay men to join the army? Man that would be rough in the army if you were openly gay, nothing against them personally, just sayin'.
As far as women's involvement in Britain goes I don't think there are any on the frontlines, but plenty on the support lines.
I could have sworn I've seen a few documentaries with women soldiers in them, and wasn't there a woman soldier in COD MW2? Or am I imagining things? Probably the latter.
