Can Gears of War 3 sell 10 million copies?

I highly doubt it.  Given that 2 failed to dramatically increase sales over 1 I doubt 3 will jump that high.  With that said, 6-7M sales is still solid and highly respectable, and would put it into the top 1% of games when all is said and done...
