I don't really care how much it sells, I just don't want to feel the same let down that I felt with 2. I mean Horde mode is off the hook, and everything else was supposed to be bigger badder and....you know the rest, but there were a couple of things that threw me in 2 that I just couldn't shake. I think they mailed it in with the copying of the Flood in the storyline, and IMO the dialogue was way too forced. I mean I know you don't play a game like that for those reasons but trying too hard to say cool and funny shit just comes off as weak. Kinda how a nerdy dork like Cliffy B tries to be cool. I also got sick of Dom's lame ass plight with the search for his old lady, gimme a break. I don't know, the first Gears with all the grit and simple one liners was just so good to me.
I don't wanna completely shit on Gears 2 cause it's still a good game to me, I guess the first just really set the bar high for me. As far as 10 mil, I'm thinking no, I think at best it may outsell the others by a million. Who knows the outcome of brolic Carmine might push it to 10 mil.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
