Well, apparently Michigan ranked 41/50 in 2007 in terms of childhood obesity, so maybe they would have gotten different results had they picked a more obese state.
Otherwise most gamers I personally know are actually tending towards underweight rather than the opposite, but they are no kids, and all sorts of kids nowadays seem to be getting way too much and too crappy food.
