Why do people REFUSE to try out Amnesia The Dark Descent

RE4&5>RE1-3 imo 

I like 'horror' games when they lead to greater action.  Amnesia doesn't fill that necessity from what I've seen. Perhaps at years end if it is on a steam sale again I'll give it a glance.
