Excellent interview, and good for them.

Recently on Eurogamer, there was an interesting breakdown of where the money goes when you buy a game at retail. Without getting too deeply into the gory detail, a fella on NeoGAF worked out that a self-published indie game makes as much money for the developers per copy sold on Steam as does a 'triple-A' console title at retail. Makes you wonder how long the traditional model can hold up, especially given the number of devs that have gone under in the last few years and the innovation shown from the indie developers.
