This report makes no sense. Konam acquired a majority stake in 2005, after already being the single largest shareholder in 2001. Either way, it makes sense for them to acquire the studio. Konami and Hudson Soft have had a very long and profitable relationship. Konami has published quite a few titles for Hudson, including a few Bloody Roar games.
