PSN is a fundamental part of the PS3. The PS3 is now wide open to hackers. Hackers can/will eventually annoy the hell out of PSN users by hacking games and potientially even accounts. If this happens to a /- large extent, then PSN will not be a pleasant/safe experience for its user base anymore. When this happens, Sony might just release another console sooner and abandon this one. Exactly....man this hack sucks for PS3. I don't know if some people realize just how bad it is that hackers have the master keys for the system.
That being said if this rumor about games haveing unique keys and rentals / borrowing from friends is going away then PS3 sales will litteraly go belly up.
