Not trolling here, its just that I'm sick of friend codes already. It is ok in the DS and Wii, but not in the next Nintendo platforms. My hope for 3DS is lost though. I hope Wii 2 comes with loaded guns for online gameplay. Free of charge too, please.


Think about it, in 8 years we will still be using friend codes, imagine what PSN and XBL will be like by then.

I don't mind the use of friend codes at all. Having a set of numbers or a random nickname full of letters and other characters, for me its the same.

What is not the same is that you cannot add random people you meet online, you cannot see their profiles, you cannot chat with them, you can't shit! You need to know who you're adding physically or thourhg internet, and that just cuts the experience of online community. Not that matters too much to me, I never add anyone nor speak through the mic on Live, but in some games, you just need it.
